Looking After The Pennies...

Apologies to all you non-crafters out there who know it is far too early to start talking about Christmas (I love Christmas, but only in December - for the other 11 months of the year it's just wrong).  But as a crafter and a shop owner I need to start thinking about it now.  In fact, I should've started thinking about it a while ago but I refuse to give over more than 4 months of the year to preparing for one day.  As a shop-owner, I need to start stocking up my shop.  As a crafter, I need to decide who's getting a handmade present and what they're getting.  And as a mummy, I need to start saving. Fortunately I have a toddler who'll be delighted if he gets a  couple more die cast Chuggington trains to add to his collection, so I don't need to save too much.  I can't say I'm looking forward to the days when he's old enough to want expensive gadgets and too old to believe that Santa doesn't bring electrical items because elves are rubbish at soldering circuit boards...  Which all brings us nicely to today's handmade items - money boxes!  Because, as every child knows, you can't save up without a money box.  And if you put aside £5 every weekend from now until Christmas, you'll have £80 to treat yourself.
