Sweet Charity

Before we get cracking with today's blog, I thought I'd show you this vest I painted.  Inspired by Monday's blog I've been making stencils so I can decorate some vests and t-shirts.  It's good when my own blog inspires me!

We had a very productive weekend.  My little boy discovered that from his cot he could reach the drawers next to his bed, open a drawer and empty all his clothes into his cot.  So we spent the weekend rearranging his bedroom.  It looks much better, and if he tries to empty the drawer now all he'll find is a couple of double duvet covers.  The downside is our bedroom is now full of all his old baby things that he's out-grown.  They spend the day on our bed, at night they get moved onto the floor in front of the wardrobe, and in the morning they have to be moved back onto the bed again.  So tonight I need to go through everything and decide what's going to my pregnant friend (who's having twin girls so probably won't want most of the boys clothes), what's going to the charity shop and what's for the bin.  We could probably sell a lot of it (high chair, pram, toys he's hardly touched, clothes he wore once and out-grew...) on ebay so I'm having internal dilemnas as to whether I should sell them or be nice and give them away.  While I debate the merits of giving to charity versus having money, have a look at these items by very nice people who have decided to give to charity...
