Wizards, Dragons and Magic

It's Fiction Week and today we're looking at fantasy.  I find a lot of the fantasy items are a bit too serious (but then I love of all things cute and silly) so I've had a good rummage through Etsy and (hopefully...) found a collection of items that you can appreciate even if you've never read Lord of the Rings or gone larping.

This gorgeous bag featuring a hand painted faery is handmade by leathercraftsman Martin of EBG Leather. It is a large size shoulder bag, hand made using finest quality 8oz saddlery leather and includes solid brass fittings. This unique bag is entirely hand-stitched to ensure long lasting resilience.  The shoulder strap is adjustable in length using brass buckles fitted at either end and the bag includes a metal press stud at the front. The outside of the leather is hand dyed to a dark tan colour and polished, whilst the inside is coated with a latex and acrylic sealant.

This mythical creature has been meticulously needle felted from tropical pink, orchid purple, white and black corriedale wool roving. She has a wire armature, and so her neck and tail are posable. She has four legs and two folded wings. She measures approximately 17 cm from head to tail (when her head it erect), and at her tallest can stand at 13.5 cm high.
